Practice Manager
Nicole is tasked with making sure that every moment of your experience with Wellness Medicine – before you enter a doctor’s room and after you leave it – is as pleasant and as efficient as possible.
She has complete responsibility for managing ‘the desk’ and the team that staff it and for doing all that can be done to make our building and facilities as safe and comfortable and attractive as the limits of our budget will allow; a budget that she manages. She also has responsibility for providing our clinicians with the support and facilities they need to deliver the quality patient care that Wellness Medicine strives for. That Nicole meets both challenges so well is a result of experience and temperament combined.
After completing VCE at MLC, Nicole worked with Ansett airlines in marketing and promotions. When her two daughters were old enough she returned to full time work as a receptionist at an allied health clinic before joining Wellness Medicine in 2015 and moving up to Supervisor in October 2016 then Patient Services Manager in early 2017. She has made improvements within her team and to our premises every month since then.
“I’m here” says Nicole “because I love helping the patients, enjoy my co-workers and our doctors and I believe passionately in the way that our practice delivers medicine”.
In earlier times Nicole spent five years at the Victorian School of Ballet, qualified through TAFE as an aerobics instructor and these days, keeps in shape by playing regular competitive basketball.
“With my daughters at Melbourne and Swinburne Universities, my husband in a senior executive role with a large company and with luck getting to the footy sometimes, I have more than enough to keep busy when I’m not at Wellness Medicine!”
