Bianca was born and raised in Melbourne and completed her Undergraduate Degree at Deakin University in Nursing and Public Health Promotion in 2014.
After graduating she had the opportunity to spend time working in the acute setting at Royal Melbourne Hospital and in 2018 moved into General Practice.
Bianca says that “I am passionate about preventative health care and believe the role of a Practice Nurse is important in keeping people healthy and functioning at their best. I find education and health promotion are areas that I am intrigued about. One way I can help facilitate this is through Chronic Disease Management and Immunisations across the life span.”
“I am grateful to join the team at Wellness Medicine where there is a focus on providing quality patient care to our community.”
Bianca also wears a hat of Immunisation Research Nurse at SAEFVIC (Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Vaccination in the Community) where she helps to monitor adverse events following vaccinations. Having both roles allow her to provide further support at Wellness Medicine, including vaccine safety and staying up to date with information about Covid-19 vaccinations.
When not working, you’ll often find Bianca cycling, being outdoors or trying a new recipe! She also explained that “I recently I finished my Yoga Teacher Training and am currently teaching yoga to friends and the community and I’m an active member in my Buddhist Community as a young women’s leader”.
Bianca is a very welcome addition to the Wellness Medicine team.
