Bianca was born and raised in Melbourne and completed her Undergraduate Degree at Deakin University in Nursing and Public Health Promotion in 2014.
After graduating she had the opportunity to spend time working in the acute setting at Royal Melbourne Hospital and in 2018 moved into General Practice.
Bianca says, “I am passionate about preventative health care and believe the role of a Practice Nurse is important in keeping people healthy and functioning at their best. I find education and health promotion are areas that I am intrigued about. One way I can help facilitate this is through education with Chronic Disease Management and Immunisations across the lifespan.
“I am grateful to be part of the team at Wellness Medicine where there is a focus on providing quality patient care to our community”.
Bianca has also previously worked as an Immunisation Research Nurse at SAEFVIC (Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Vaccination in the Community) where she helped to monitor adverse events following vaccinations.
When she is not working, you will often find Bianca cycling, being outdoors, enjoying live music or trying a new recipe!
She also explained, “I recently finished my Yoga Teacher Training and am currently teaching yoga to friends and the community and I’m an active member in my Buddhist Community as a young women’s leader”.
